Assam Direct Recruitment 2024
State Level Recruitment Commissions of Govt. of Assam have released employment notifications for the recruitment of 5000 Grade-IV Vacancy under different departments/establishments in Government of Assam. These vacancies will be filled up by the recruitment rules framed by the newly constituted Assam Direct Recruitment Commission for Analogous Posts in Class III and Class IV Act 2021 and Assam Direct Recruitment for Class III and Class IV Analogous Posts Rules 2022. A single written exam along with skill test or interview will be held for each category of posts and a merit list will be prepared accordingly for appointment.

- 15 September 2024 (12th Level)
- 29 September 2024 (Bachelor Degree Level (1st Half) & Driver (2nd Half))
Grade-IV Exam Date: 27 October 2024 (HSLC Level (1st Half), 8th Level (2nd Half)
Educational Qualification of Assam Direct Recruitment Grade-IV Posts
Grade-IV or Class-IV:
1. Class-VIII: 1950 Posts
Minimum Qualification: Read up to Class-VIII
2. HSLC: 1060 Posts
Minimum Qualification: HSLC (Class Ten) or equivalent examination passed.
3. HSLC (With ITI): 1990 Posts
Minimum Qualification: HSLC (Class Ten) or equivalent examination passed along with ITI pass certificate in the trade of wireman/electrician/fitter/welder/ machinist/Electronics Mechanic from Govt. of Assam approved Institute.
Maximum Qualification: The maximum allowed educational qualification for Class-IV posts is HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examination passed. Candidates having qualifications higher than maximum qualification are not eligible to apply for these vacancies.
Other Eligibility Criteria of ADRE
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must have a valid employment exchange registration number of Assam to be eligible for this recruitment.
Citizenship: Candidates must be a citizen of India.
Working Candidate: Those candidates who are already in Government service should produce NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the respective HoDs (Heads of Departments) at the time of the Skill test/ Document Verification.
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as of 1st January 2023.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise upper age relaxation will be as follows.
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 Yeas
- Ex-Servicemen: 2 Years
- PwD:10 Years
