Assam Direct Recruitment 2024
Respective State Level Recruitment Commissions of Govt. of Assam have released employment notifications for the recruitment of 7600 Grade III Vacancy under different departments/establishments in Government of Assam. These vacancies will be filled up by the recruitment rules framed by the newly constituted Assam Direct Recruitment Commission for Analogous Posts in Class III and Class IV Act 2021 and Assam Direct Recruitment for Class III and Class IV Analogous Posts Rules 2022. A single written exam along with skill test or interview will be held for each category of posts and a merit list will be prepared accordingly for appointment.

Educational Qualification of Assam Direct Recruitment Grade-III Posts
A. Grade-III (Category-I):
Name of Posts: Accountant, Cashier, Junior Assistant, LDA, Stenographer, etc.
No of Posts: 4,055 Posts
Educational Qualifications:
1. Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s Degree. (As applicable)
or
2. Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/ Diploma of minimum 6 months duration. (As applicable)
or
3. Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6(six) months duration and Stenography Certificate from recognized Institute. (As applicable)
or
4. Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6(six) months duration from a recognized Institute. (As applicable)
B. Grade-III (Category-II):
Name of Posts: Field Assistant, Fieldman, Foreman, Section Assistant, Soil Conservation Field Worker Junior, Agriculture Extension Officer, etc. (Expected)
No of Posts: 3,127 Posts
Educational Qualifications: Candidates who have passed HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent can apply online for these posts. (For some posts, candidates should be class 12th passed from the science stream.)
C. Grade-III (Category-III):
Name of Post: Driver
No of Posts: 418 Posts
Educational Qualifications: Candidates who have passed HSLC or equivalent can apply online for these posts.

Other Eligibility Criteria of ADRE
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must have a valid employment exchange registration number of Assam to be eligible for this recruitment.
Citizenship: Candidates must be a citizen of India.
Working Candidate: Those candidates who are already in Government service should produce NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the respective HoDs (Heads of Departments) at the time of the Skill test/ Document Verification.
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as of 1st January 2023.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise upper age relaxation will be as follows.
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 Yeas
- Ex-Servicemen: 2 Years
- PwD:10 Years
