Assam Direct Recruitment Exam
The State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) had released two distinct notifications related to the recruitment of 12,650 Class-III and Class-IV posts in accordance with the Assam Direct Recruitment for Class-III and Class-IV Analogous Posts Rules 2022. Final Result of ADRE Grade-III & Grade-IV Exams will declared on 10th October and 15th October 2025.

- Grade-III: 7,650 Posts
- Grade-IV: 5,023 Posts.

Required Educational Qualification
The required educational qualifications are different for different types of posts. Candidates will be able to submit their application for the type of posts where they are eligible.
Grade-IV or Class-IV:
- Class-VIII: 2102
- HSLC: 1088
- HSLC (With ITI): 1833
Total: 5023
Minimum Qualification:
1. HSLC (Class Ten) or equivalent examination passed.
or
2. HSLC (Class Ten) or equivalent examination passed along with ITI pass certificate in the trade of wireman/electrician/fitter/welder/ machinist/Electronics Mechanic from Govt. of Assam approved Institute.
or
3. Read up to Class-VIII
Maximum Qualification: The maximum allowed educational qualification for Class-IV posts is HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examination passed. Candidates having qualifications higher than maximum qualification are not eligible to apply for these vacancies.
Grade-III (Category-I):
Name of Posts: Accountant, Cashier, Junior Assistant, LDA, Stenographer, etc.
No of Posts: 4,092 Posts
Educational Qualifications:
1.Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s Degree. (As applicable)
or
2. Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/ Diploma of minimum 6 months duration. (As applicable)
or
3. Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6(six) months duration and Stenography Certificate from recognized Institute. (As applicable)
or
4. Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6(six) months duration from a recognized Institute. (As applicable)
Grade-III (Category-II):
Name of Posts: Field Assistant, Fieldman, Foreman, Section Assistant, Soil Conservation Field Worker Junior, Agriculture Extension Assistant, Photographic Assistant, Marton, etc.
No of Posts: 3,248 Posts
Educational Qualifications: Candidates who have passed HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent can apply online for these posts. (For some posts, candidates should be class 12th passed from the science stream.)
Grade-III (Category-III):
Name of Post: Driver
No of Posts: 310 Posts
Educational Qualifications: Candidates who have passed HSLC or equivalent can apply online for these posts.
Other Eligibility Criteria of ADRE
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must have a valid employment exchange registration number of Assam to be eligible for this recruitment.
Citizenship: Candidates must be a citizen of India.
Working Candidate: Those candidates who are already in Government service should produce NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the respective HoDs (Heads of Departments) at the time of the Skill test/ Document Verification.
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as of 1st January 2023.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise upper age relaxation will be as follows.
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 Yeas
- Ex-Servicemen: 2 Years
- PwD:10 Years

The candidates who will be eligible as per the official notification of Assam Direct Recruitment will be able to submit their online applications through the official application portal www.sebaonline.org.
How to Check ADRE Grade-III & Grade-IV Result?
The candidates can view their results by entering their Application Number and the Password that was used at the time of filling the application and downloading of the Admit Cards.
