DHS Assam Recruitment 2024
The Directorate of Health Services (DHS), Assam has announced the recruitment of 919 Grade-III (Technical) posts . Online applications are invited from the citizens of India as defined under Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up of the following vacancies of the cadre of Grade-III (Technical) posts i.e. ANM, Staff Nurse & Staff Nurse (Critical Care) againstexisting vacant posts in different health institutions in the State under the establishment of the Directorate of Health Services, Assam.
The online application form shall be available from 09.12.2024 to 20.12.2024 till midnight at the official website of the Directorate of Health Services, Assam i.e. www.dhs.assam.gov.in
DHS Assam Recruitment Details
1. Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM)
No. Of Posts: 181 (+636 in DHSFW)
Requisite qualification: ANM Training passed from Assam Govt. Institution or Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council and Assam Nursing Council and must be registered under Assam Nursing Council with Employment Exchange registration of Assam.
Pay Scale: Rs.14,000 – 70,000 + Grade Pay of Rs.6200/-
2. Staff Nurse
No. Of Posts: 446
Requisite qualification: GNM Diploma / B.Sc (Nursing) Degree from any Institute / Nursing College recognized by Indian Nursing Council and must be registered under Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors Council along with Employment Exchange registration of Assam.
Pay Scale: Rs.14,000 – 70,000 + Grade Pay of Rs.6800/-
3. Staff Nurse (Critical Care)
No. Of Posts: 292
Requisite qualification:
a) GNM Diploma / B.Sc (Nursing) Degree or above from any institute / nursing college recognized by Indian Nursing Council and must be registered under Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors Council along
with Employment Exchange registration of Assam.
b) Applicant should have experience of working in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) at least for a period of one year.
Pay Scale: Rs.14,000 – 70,000 + Grade Pay of Rs.6800/-
For the post of ANM: Intending candidates need to submit online application for the post of ANM (Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife)
under only one Directorate i.e. Directorate of Health Services (FW), Assam or Directorate of Health Services, Assam. The candidature
against such submission will be considered for vacancies of ANM for both the Directorates, Directorate of Health Services (FW), Assam/ Directorate of Health Services, Assam.
For the post of Staff Nurse & Staff Nurse (Critical Care): Intending candidates need to submit online application for the post of
Staff Nurse and Staff Nurse (Critical Care) under only one Directorate i.e. Directorate of Medical Education, Assam or Directorate of Health Services, Assam. The candidature against such submission will be considered for vacancies of Staff Nurse and Staff Nurse (Critical Care) for both the Directorates, Directorate of Medical Education, Assam / Directorate of Health Services, Assam.

Eligibility Criteria:
i) The candidates must possess valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate of the State of Assam.
ii) AGE LIMIT: The category-wise age limit as on 01-01-2024 is as under:
