The Central Selection Board (CSB), BTC, Kokrajhar has released a notification for the recruitment of 420 Secretary posts under the Village Council Development Committee (VCDC) in the Panchayat & Rural Development (P&RD) Department. This recruitment aims to strengthen grassroots governance in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Assam.

Eligibility Criteria for BTR VCDC Secretary
Qualification: Candidates must be Graduate in any discipline or equivalent qualification from a recognized University with 1 (one) year Diploma in Computer proficiency as per Govt.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of 1st January 2025. The upper age relaxation will be as per the government rules.
Residency: Candidates must be permanent residents of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) of Assam.
Exchange Registration: All applicants for the VCDC Secretary vacancies must have an active registration with any Employment Exchange office in Assam.

General/OBC/MOBC: ₹350/-
SC/ST: ₹250/-

The online application window for the 420 VCDC Secretary vacancies will remain open from 24th March to 7th April 2025 at www.centralselectionboard.com/application-form .
Documents required to be upload during online Application
The candidates must upload the following documents/testimonials during online application process:
a) All certificates/mark sheets in support of educational qualifications.
b) Age proof certificate.
c) A permanent BTR residential certificate belonging to General category candidates from VCDC/Municipality as applicable and in case of ST/SC/OBC/MOBC Caste Certificate need to be uploaded.
d) The candidates belonging to newly added 60 Nos. of villages from Biswanath and Sonitpur districts to Udalguri district under BTR will have to upload any one of Aadhaar Card/Voter ID Card/Caste Certificate.
e) A recent passport size photograph (size: 20KB to 100KB) and signature (size: 10KB to 50KB) in .jpg/.jpeg format are required to upload by the candidates at time of submission of online application.
