The Board of Secondary Education, Assam, also known as SEBA now known as Assam State School Education Board (Division-I) is the main secondary education board of Assam. SEBA was founded on 29th January 1962 under the Assam Secondary Education Act, 1961 (Assam Act, XXV of 1961). The Board of Secondary Education, Assam every year organizes a final High School Leaving Certificate Exam for those students who are studying in class 10th. The HSLC Examination, 2025 was conducted by the SEBA between 15th February to 3rd March 2025. In the HSLC Exam 2025, around 4 lakh students appeared at 944 exam centres.
