Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati (IIITG) is an institution of National Importance under an Act of Parliament (THE INDIAN INSTITUTES OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP) ACT, 2017). It offers B.Tech. courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Computer Science Engineering (CSE), M.Tech. courses in CSE and ECE and runs PhD programmes in ECE, CSE, Mathematics, and Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS). IIITG started operations in August 2013 with B.Tech programmes in CSE and ECE. The first batch of B.Tech. students completed their programme in May 2017. The first convocation of the Institute was held on May 15 2018.The institute has further received funding for infrastructural development and academic improvement under TEQIP III. Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree with knowledge of computer office
applications.
Maximum Age: 30 years as on the date of advertisement. Age relaxation for reserved category candidates will be admissible as per rules.
Other Criteria of IIITG Recruitment
1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. The candidates are expected to have knowledge in computer for official work.
3. Persons employed in Govt. / Semi Govt. Organizations / Autonomous Bodies should submit a No Objection certificate along with the online application.
4. Degree as referred above are those which have been awarded by a recognized University /Institution.
5. The Institute reserves the right to short-list the candidates for Written test based on marks received in the qualifying examinations and the number of applications received.
6. Selection in different categories will be made on the basis of the performance of the candidate in Written Test, subject to verification of all relevant certificates and documents.
Application Fee: Candidates will be required to pay online an amount of ₹500/- as application fess, without which their candidature will be rejected. However, candidates applying under SC & EWS category are exempted from paying the fees.
