With a view to support, strengthen and improve the quality of Elementary Education in the Bodoland Territorial Council in compliance with the Right to Education Act, 2009 and in pursuance of the BTC's approval letter No. BTC/Edn (HS)-O1/2021/696, dtd. S-1-2024, online applications are hereby invited through the official website of DE, BTC, i.e. https://education.bodoland.gov.in from eligible Indian Citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and permanent residents of Assam, who are qualified in Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) / BTC TET for filling up of vacancies of Assistant Teacher of LP Schools and UP Schools under the Director of Education, BTC, Kokrajhar.
BTC TET Teacher Recruitment Details
Name of Post: Assistant Teacher (LP & UP)
Type of Schools: Lower and Upper Primary
Name of Department: Directorate of Education, BTC, Kokrajhar
Pay Scale: Rs.14,000 – Rs.70,000 plus Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Eligibility Criteria of BTC TET Recruitment
ATET/ CTET/ BTC TET Qualification: The candidates who have passed ATET/ CTET/ BTC TET for LP/ UP will be eligible for applying.
Nationality: An Indian Citizen and Permanent Resident of Assam is eligible for this recruitment.
✓ Candidate belonging to BTR shall be given 1st preference.
Age Limit: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex-Servicemen, 43 years for OBC/ MOBC and 45 years for SC/ STP/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD), as on 1st January, 2023.
Educational Qualification: Post-wise educational qualifications for each posts are as mentioned below .
Assistant Teacher (LP)
Qualification: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Assistant Teacher (UP)
Qualification: Graduate from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education).
Science Teacher (UP)
Qualification: B. Sc. from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education) .
Hindi Teacher (UP)
Qualification: Graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects from the UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education).

Candidates fulfilling all the required eligibility criteria for the recruitment of Lower Primary and Upper Primary Teachers will be able to submit their online applications on the official application portal https://education.bodoland.gov.in .
Documents required to be uplod in colour

1. Passport Size Photograph.
2. HSLC Admit Card.
3. HSSLC Mark-sheet and Certificate.
4. Degree Mark-sheet and Certificate. (For Upper Primary)
5. Any other Mark-sheet and Certificate of higher education.
6. DEIEd/ BEd Marksheet (1st Year & 2nd Year) and Certificate
7. Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC).
8. Document in support of Permanent Resident of Assam.
9. Certificate NCC (Only B or C Category only), Sports & Cultural (if represented state at National Level).
10. Certificate and Mark sheet of ATET/CTET/BTC TET.
11. Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority.
12. Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board.

14. BTC residential certificate from concerned authority.
