Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Assam has released an employment notification for the recruitment of Veterinary Officer, Laboratory Assistant & Office Attendant posts. Applications are invited from eligible candidates who are permanent resident of Assam for the following posts on contract basis under the World Bank Funded APART Project, Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, Govt. of Assam.
Veterinary Department Recruitment 2023
1. Veterinary Officer
No of posts: 03
Job Location:
- Khanapara (Guwahati)
- Baghchung (Jorhat)
- Demow (Sivasagar)
Essential qualifications: Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH),candidate must be registered under Assam Veterinary Council.
Age Limit: Candidate should not be more than 45 years as on 31st March, 2023.
2. Laboratory Assistant
No of posts: 03
Job Location:
- Khanapara (Guwahati)
- Baghchung (Jorhat)
- Demow (Sivasagar)
Essential qualifications: HSSLC (Science) passed with Biology as a Subject.
Desirable qualifications:
● Experience in laboratory activities
● Basic computer knowledge
Age Limit: Candidate should not be more than 45 years as on 31st March, 2023
3. Office Attendant

Essential qualifications: Class IX passed from Government recognized School
