Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards, Assam has released three employment notification for the recruitment of 269 Constable (Grade III) and 2 Dresser vacancy under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up sanctioned vacant post of Constable under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards in the pay scale of Rs. 14000 – 60500 + GP 5600 (PB-2). Applications must be submitted online through SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in) and will be received w.e.f. 01-02-2024. The last date of receiving application will be 15-02 2024. No application will be received there after.

1. Constable (Grade III)

Educational Qualification: H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Other Qualification: Candidates must also possess the Home Guard Certificate or Minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate in order to submit their online applications for this recruitment. However, if the candidate is an Ex-Serviceman, he/she will be exempted from this qualification requirement.
Note: The persons having H.S.L.C. passed certificate but not possessing minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate are not eligible to apply.

2. Dresser

Educational Qualification: H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Other Qualification:
a) 02 (two) years experience certificate on Dresser (Medical) work from a Govt. recognized Institute.
b) Trade skill including knowledge on contamination, sterilization and disinfection of instruments, preparation of chlorine solution, antiseptic & aseptic condition, procedure of decontamination, Cleaning & Bandaging wounds and other affected body parts.
Eligibility Criteria of Civil Defence & Home Guards Recruitment
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2024 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2006 and on or after 01.01.1984).
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
- SC/ST(P/H): 5 years
- OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
