Eligibility Criteria of Power Department Recruitment
Resident-ship: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam. As a domicile proof of the candidate, one of the documents, viz, PRC/Voter ID Card/Employment Exchange Registration needs to be enclosed.
Educational Qualification: A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2022.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable:
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years.
(iii) For Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidate.
Application Fee:
- General/EWS: Rs.250/- only.
- SC/ST/OBC/MOBC: Rs.150/- only.
- BPL/ PwBD: Nil
