The State Level Recruitment Commission of Assam has successfully conducted the written examination of Assam Direct Recruitment. The written examination of Assam Direct Recruitment for Class-IV and Class-III posts has been conducted on 21st August and 28th August 2022. Selection Procedure of Assam Direct Recruitment Grade-IV Vacancy
i) There shall be two parts of selection process: Written test and Interview.
ii) The scheme of examination shall be strictly as per the "Assam Direct Recruitment for Class-III and Class-IV Analogous Posts Rules, 2022", as amended from time to time. Further, this scheme will be published at least one week before the conduct of written test.
iii) The selected candidate will have to bring all the original testimonials i.e. Certificate of proof of age, Caste Certificate (in case of reserved category candidates), Educational Qualification Certificates, Economically Weaker Section Certificate, Disability Certificate (in case of PWBD candidates) and Declaration in Form- "A" under Rule 5(I) of the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019 for verification at the time to be notified later on, amongst others. An undertaking with regards to fulfilment of all eligibility criteria has to be uploaded in the portal. The Discharge certificate will be required in case of Ex-serviceman.
A candidate having higher qualifications than HSSLC or Equivalent examination passed then he/she is not eligible to apply in Class-IV posts.

Grade 4 means an employee whose duties require competence and diligence in work and the operation of ancillary equipment and machinery or to carry out a major function with limited supervision within a Section.
Assam 4th grade job salary: Monthly salary in the pay scale of Rs. 12000/- Rs. 52000/- with a grade pay of Rs. 3900/- and admissible allowances.
