Assam Govt. has launched online registration & Renewal in Employment Exchanges of Assam from today (27/09/2021) 11:30 AM. Ceremonial Launch by Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma Chief Minister of Assam in presence of Chandra Mohan Patowary Minister of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship, etc.

How to Register in Employment Exchange?
- Visit Sewasetu.assam.gov.in
- Register (For New User) using mobile number.
- Log in to the portal using user id and password.
- Search Employment Exchange, Choose "Registration in Employment Exchange (AADHAAR Based)"or "Registration in Employment Exchange (Non AADHAAR Based)"
A. For AADHAAR Based verification
- Choose AADHAAR Based verification.
- Fill requisite information & Upload copies of testimonials etc.
- Download Employment Exchange Registration e-certificate.
B. For Non-AADHAAR Based verification
- Choose non-AADHAAR based verification.
- Select date and time for verification of documents.
- Visit employment office for verification of documents .
- Follow necessary guidelines and process & receive Employment Exchange Registration certificate .
Guidelines for Registration in Employment Exchanges of Assam:
1. All citizens of India above the age of 14 years who are permanent residents of Assam are eligible to register their names in the Employment Exchange of
the State of Assam.
2. The candidates are eligible for Registration in one Employment Exchange only in the state, where they
are permanent residents within the jurisdiction of the District.
3. Applicants who are already employed and seeking better employment have to be registered only after production of a "No Objection Certificate" issued by the employer.
4. All text box with asterisk(*) symbol is mandatory to filled up.
Registration Fee for Employment Exchange Certificate
Fees :
Statutory charges: NIL
Service charge (through PFC/CSC) - Rs. 30
Printing charge (in case of any printing from PFC/CSC) - Rs. 10 per page
Scanning charge (in case documents are scanned in PFC/CSC) - Rs. 5 per page.
Convenience fee - Rs. 10
The following documents are to be submitted:-
1. Age Proof : Birth Certificate/ HSLC Admit card/School Certificate (Any one of these three documents).
2. Proof of Residency :
A) Applicants having AADHAAR Card with permanent address within the state of Assam will be allowed to Register Online without visiting the Employment Exchange as per Office Memorandum issued vide no. SKE. 42/2021/32 Dated Dispur the 19th July 2021. (Only for verification of the state of ASSAM)
B) Driving License (either self or parents),Copy of Chitha/Jamabandi (either self or parents),Copy of Passport (either self or parents),Certified Copy of Electoral Roll/EPIC (either self or parents) ( Any one of these documents)
3. Educational Qualification Certificate : Pass Certificate (S) and Mark Sheet(S)
4. Caste Certificate : In cases of SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/EWS applicants
5. In case of P.W.D (Persons with Disability) candidate Disability certificate issued by competent authority.
6. Additional Qualification Certificate (if any)
- Experience Certificate (If any)
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate.
- AADHAAR Card (non mandatory)
✓ Please scan all Educational Qualification (Pass Certificate & Mark sheets in chronological order from
lowest level to highest level) into a single PDF and upload as one single PDF.
Registration numbers manually issued from any Employment Exchange of Assam prior to 27th Sept 2021 will remain valid only upto 31st March 2022 and after 31st March 2022, those registration numbers will be treated as invalid. Read the Official Order.
