The government of Assam started a scheme named Pragyan Bharati Scheme in 2020, under this scheme the government will provide scooty to all the girl students who have secured 60 or more percentile marks in the higher secondary examination conducted by AHSEC. As per the recent cabinet announcement, this scheme will also provide scooty to the students for the year 2023. Boy students securing 75 percent or more marks will be benefited from Pragyan Bharti Scheme. Also, the cabinet has announced that the distribution of scooters will start from 30th November 2023.

Eligibility: Girl students who have secured 60% or above and boy students who have secured 75% or above in Higher Secondary Examination under AHSEC.

As per recent reports, 30,209 girl students and 5,566 boy students will receive Scooty under this Scooty Scheme. For this year, there is no need to fill online application for this scheme.
Date of Distribution: The government of Assam has notified that the distribution process of scooters will start from 30th November 2023.

Students who are eligible as per the official notification will be able to submit their applications for Pragyan Bharati Scheme within the stipulated time.
