The Directorate of Health Services (FW), Assam has announced the recruitment of 636 Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) posts to fill existing vacancies in various health institutions across the state. Online applications are invited from intending eligible Indian citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up of 636 vacancies in Grade-III post (Technical) i/e Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM) in respect of existing vacancies in different health institutions in the State under the establishment of Directorate of Health Services (FW), Assam, Hengrabari, Guwahati-36, as shown below. The online applications will be available in the Directorate of Health Services (FW), Assam official website (www.dhsfw.assam.gov.in) from 09.12.2024 to 20.12.2024 (till 11:59 PM).Intending candidates need to submit online application for the post of ANM (Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife) under only one Directorate i/e, Directorate of Health Services (FW), Assam or Directorate of Health Services, Assam. Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of ANM must have completed ANM Training from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, the Assam Nursing Council, or an Assam Government Institution, and must be registered under the Assam Nursing Council with a valid employment exchange registration in Assam.
Pay Scale: The pay scale for the post is ₹14,000 – ₹70,000/- with a Grade Pay of ₹6,200/-.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must possess a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate issued by the State of Assam.
Age Limit: The category-wise age limit as of 1st January 2024 is as follows:
