Assam Government Holiday List 2024
Every year Government of Assam releases the official Assam Government Holiday List for the people of Assam. The State Government today published its holiday list for the year 2024 for its offices and all Revenue and Magisterial Courts in the state. In this regard, the General Administration Department (GAD) issued an official notification after approval from the Cabinet.
General Administration Department (GAD), Govt. of Assam has recently published the list of holidays for various institutions under the Government of Assam for the year 2024 vide Ref: E file No.221561/1 Dated Dispur the 2nd November, 2023.

These Holidays will not be automatically applicable to the Educational Institutions, Medical/Engineering Colleges unless they adopt the list but it is desirable that the number of holidays may be decreased for Educational Institutions, Medical/Engineering Colleges etc. and they will adopt academic calendars decreasing the number of holidays.
