Assam VFA Admission
Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Assam has issued official notification regarding the admission of one year VFA Training Course in Elementary Knowledge of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science for the Session 2022-23 at the School of Veterinary Science & A.H. at Ghungoor, Silchar, Assam. Candidates who are willing to take admission in VFA course can apply online within the last date of application. The Personality Assessment Test (PAT) was held in January 2023. Candidates who participated in the PAT and are shortlisted for admission will have to report Principal, School of Veterinary Science & A.H. at Ghungoor, Silchar, Assam for admission from 20th July to 5th August 2023.

Eligibility Criteria of VFA Admission
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed HSSLC in Science stream with Biology as one of the subjects from recognized University/ Board.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st January 2022.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit of the candidate will be relaxed as follows.
- MOBC/OBC 3 Years
- Schedule Caste 5 Years
- Schedule Tribes (H) 5 Years
- Schedule Tribes (P) 5 Years
Application Fee of VFA Admission:
Applicants who have submitted their online application for admission to VFA course are required to pay the following applicable fee as application fee to complete the online application process. The application fee can be paid through online mode of payment.
- Unreserved: Rs.250/-
- MOBC/OBC: Rs.250/-
- Schedule Caste: Rs.150/-
- Schedule Tribes: Rs.150/-

How to Apply for Assam VFA Admission?
The candidates who have fulfilled all the required criteria and are willing to take admission in VFA course will be able to submit their applications on the official web portal. Interested candidates can follow the following steps to submit their applications.

- Click on Online Application Link.
- Now, an official web portal will load in the new tab of your browser.
- In that portal, you will get the option to register yourself.
- After registration, you have to provide all your asked details.
- After that you have to upload your documents.
- Now, you have to pay the examination fee.
- After successful payment, your application will be submitted.
- Also, you will receive an acknowledgment copy of your submission.
- Keep that acknowledgment copy for future use.

Applicants are required to upload the following documents while submitting the online application for admission to VFA course. Hence, we advise all of you to prepare the following documents before proceeding with the application process:
1. Age Prof.
2. PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate).
3. HSLC (or equivalent) Marksheet.
4. HSSLC (Science) Marksheet.
5. Recent Passport Size Photograph.
6. Signature of the Candidate.
7. Caste Certificate/EWS Certificate.
8. DDO’s Certificate in case of serving Grade-IV employees of the Department.
