Assam Police Recruitment 2023
State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 587 posts of Safai Karmachari. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up 483 posts of Safai Karmachari in Assam Police, 57 posts of Safai Karmachari under Directorate of Civil Defence & Home Guards, Assam, 13 posts of Safai Karmachari under Fire & Emergency Services, Assam, 6 posts of Safai Karmachari under Prison Department, Assam & 28 posts of Sweeper under Forest Department, Assam in the in the pay scale of Rs. 12000-52000 (Pay Band- I) and Grade pay Rs. 3900/- plus other allowances as admissible under the rules. Applications must be submitted online through SLPRB website(www.slprbassam.in). The online application will be received with effect from 08-02-2023 and the last date of receiving application will be 22-02-2023.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam Police Safai Karmachari
Educational and other diploma qualification required :
Minimum Class VI passed from a recognized School or Institution and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board or Council.
Other diploma qualification required:
Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks.
or
Minimum 01 (one) year work experience certificate from registered NGO/ Municipality Board / Govt. Departments will carry 5 marks. Registered NGOs registration Number must be reflected in the certificate.

a) Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit Proof of Residence after publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
b) Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
c) Age: 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before
01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1983).
Relaxations: Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST (H).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC

Medical Standards:
i. General: Candidates must not have squint eyes, and should possess high colour vision. Varicose vein shall be considered a temporary disqualification. He/ She must be in good mental and physical health. He / She must be free from any physical deformities and free from diseases such as diabetes, hernia, piles, respiratory diseases or any other ailment that is likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties.
ii. Eye Sight: The distant vision should be 6/6 for at least one eye and not poorer than 6/9 for the other without correction. Near vision should be normal.

www.slprbassam.in. No other forms of application will be entertained.
Candidates must follow the following steps during submission of online application:
➠ Register in the Portal using valid mobile number.
(Note: Candidates are advised to keep the mobile number unchanged until the
recruitment process is over)
➠ After successful registration candidates will get a Recruitment ID. Candidature of those candidates will be cancelled who generate multiple recruitment IDs.
Candidates will be required to upload scanned copies of the following
documents:
a) Passport Size Photograph
b) Signature
i) Certificate of proof of age. (Admit Card /Certificate of H.S.L.C. or equivalent
examination) for the candidates who have passed HSLC or equivalent examination.
ii) Pass Certificate of HSLC or equivalent examination for the candidates who have
passed HSLC or equivalent examination.
iii) Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Authority as mentioned at Para II (c) above by the candidates who have not appeared in HSLC or equivalent
examination.
iv)Class VI Passed Certificate for the candidates who have not appeared in HSLC or equivalent examination.
v) Certificate of diploma qualification as mentioned at Para II (d) above.
vi)Certificate of Caste from Competent Authority. NO CASTE CERTIFICATE
ISSUED BY OTHER STATES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
