Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 17 Junior Administrative Assistant (JAA) vacancy under the establishment of Assam Public Service Commission. The candidates who had submitted their online applications for the recruitment of Junior Administrative Assistant may now download their admit card. To appear in the exam, candidates must bring a print out admit card while going to the exam centre.

APSC JAA Result
The Assam Public Service Commission hereby declares today, the 20th March, 2023, the result of the recruitment to the post of Junior Administrative Assistant in the office of APSC (Advt. No. 01/2022 (Dtd. 01/01/2022), Addendum No. 40PSC/Estt-14/2013-2014/Pt-III (Dtd. 02/04/2022)).
The interview for the said post was conducted by the Commission w.e.f. 16th to 18th March, 2023. The Commission selected the following candidates for appointment for the said post, in order of merit:
Eligibility Criteria of APSC JAA Recruitment
Educational Qualification: The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce from a recognized University.
Computer Proficiency: The candidate must possess a minimum 6 (six) months Diploma/Certificate in computer proficiency from a Govt. recognized institute. He/She must have proficiency in Basic Computer Applications like MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Internet etc.
Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 40 years of age as on 01/01/2022.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise the upper age limit relaxation is as mentioned below:
✓ SC/ST: By 5 years .
✓ OBC/MOBC: By 3 years .
✓ PWD: By 10 years .
Domicile: The candidate applying for the post of Jr. A.A. must have registration in Employment Exchange of Assam/Voter’s ID/PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as a proof of residency.
Processing Fee:
Candidates have to pay a processing fee as mentioned below:
- General/EWS: 35.40
- SC/ST/OBC/MOBC: 35.40
- BPL: 35.40
- PWBD: 35.40
The persons who had applied against the 13(thirteen) posts advertised earlier need not apply again and they will be eligible for selection against al 17 (seventeen) posts. Similarly, candidates who will apply afresh against the 04 (four) additional posts, will also be eligible for selection against all 17 (seventeen) posts. The other terms and conditions stipulated in the earlier advertisement will apply in the fresh advertisement. Notification for holding the OMR based screening test will be notified on the basis of present vacancy position i.e. 13+4=17 (seventeen) posts later on.
