Applications are invited from the eligible Indian citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and permanent residents of Assam for filling up 1472 vacant posts of (1) Graduate Teachers (Arts), (2) Graduate Teacher (Science), (3) Graduate Teacher (Hindi) and (4) Graduate Teacher (Sanskrit) of the different Provincialised Secondary Schools under the Director of Education, BTC, Kokrajhar in the scale of pay of Rs.14,000 - to 70,000 /- including Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700 /- PM (under Pay Band-2) plus other allowances as admissible under rules and 141 vacancies of Post
Graduate Teachers in the different Provincialised Secondary Schools under the Director of Education, BTC, Kokrajhar in the scale of pay of Rs.22,000/ - to 97,000/- including Grade Pay of Rs. 11,800 - PM (under Pay Band- 3) plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.

1. Name of Post: Graduate Teacher (GT)
No of Posts: 1472 Posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- (Pay Band – 2) plus Grade Pay Rs 8,700 and other allowances as admissible
Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a Graduate or Post Graduate from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s)
Age Limit: the age should be 18 to 40 years as of 01 January 2023, also age relaxation applies as mentioned below.
✓ OBC/MOBC: 3 Years
✓ SC/ST: 5 Years
✓ PwD: 10 Years
2. Name of Post: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
No of Posts: 141 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 22,000/- to Rs. 97,000/- (Pay Band – 2) plus Grade Pay Rs. 11,800 and other allowances as admissible.
Educational Qualification: The Candidates must be a Post Graduate in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and should possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) qualification from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Age Limit: the age should be 21 to 38 years as of 01 January 2023, also age relaxation applies as mentioned below.
Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxations are given below.
