Barpeta District Judiciary has released a recruitment notification for filling up the post of office Peon. Interested and eligible candidates are invited in the prescribed Standard Form of application published in part-IX of Assam Gazette, from intending and eligible candidates, who are citizens of India as defined in articles 5 & 6 of the Constitution of India and having registration number in an Employment Exchange in the State of Assam, for filling up the following vacant post under the establishment of Barpeta Judiciary undersigned in the Pay Band & Grade Pay with other allowances as admissible under Govt.
Barpeta Judiciary Recruitment Details
1. Office Peon
No. Of Post : 02 [Gen: 01, OBC /MOBC: 1]
Scale of pay: PB-1 12,000/-to-52,000/- +G.P. Rs. 3,900/-
2. Office Peon (Contractual)
No. Of Post : 01 [UR]
Scale of pay: 15,000/- Per Month.
Eligibility Criteria of Barpeta Judiciary Recruitment
Educational Qualification: Class VIII passed and up to Class-XII and those who have passed HSSLC (Class XII) or above shall be ineligible to apply for these posts.
Age Limit : The candidate must not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years of age as on 01/01/2023. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC /MOBC candidates as per Govt. of Assam office Memorandum ABP.6/2016/51 dated 02.09.2020.
Citizenship: Candidates must be an Indian citizen.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered in any Employment Exchange of Assam.
✓ Candidates possessing special skill may be given preference on need basis.

copies of all testimonials regarding Educational Qualification, Age, Caste, Valid Employment Exchange Registration Card along with 3 (three) copies of recent passport size photographs duly signed by the candidate on the reverse side, in the "Drop Box" of the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Barpeta or may send the application form along with all documents by post to the ofice address mentioned below .
Applicant must indicate prominently the name of the post applied (Office Pron) for on the right hand corner of the envelope containing the application.
