Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Assam has released a notification for the recruitment of 694 Junior Assistant,Electrician & Grade IV posts.This is for information to all concerned that Online applications are invited from 15th March 2021 onwards for eligible candidates for filling up the 694 vacant posts under Directorate of Animal Husbandry &Veterinary, Assam.

1. Junior Assistant(HQ)
No of Posts: 61 Posts

Educational Qualification:
A candidate must possess a Bachelor degree from a recognised University or any examination declared equivalent by the Government. Moreover, the candidate must possess knowledge of computer as specified below.
- Candidate must have good working knowledge of office productivity software tools (independent) of any operating system i.e. MS Windows, Linux, Mac, etc. such as Word processor, Spreadsheet, Presentation Graphics, Concept of Database, Internet, E-mail.
- Candidate must possess a minimum 6 months Diploma in Computer Application/ Knowledge from an Institute recognized by the Government.
Pay Scale : Pay Band-2 Rs. 14,000/- to Rs 60,500/- + Grade Pay Rs.6,200/
2. Junior Assistant : (Sub-Ordinate)

Educational Qualification:

Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed HSLC or equivalent from Government recognized Board or Council. Also, the candidate is required to have a 2 years Diploma in Electrical from any recognized Institute of Government of Assam.
Pay Scale : Pay Band 2-Rs. 14,000/- to Rs 60,500/- + Grade Pay Rs.6,200/-
4. Grade IV

Educational Qualification: A candidate should be Class 8th passed from any recognized Educational Institutes and the candidate must produce the Certificate of 8th pass from the School Authority they had attended with due Seal and Signature of the authority.
Language: Candidates must have knowledge of local language of Assam.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-1, Rs.12,000 – Rs.52,000 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 3,900 and other allowances as admissible under the rules.

Age Limit: The candidates age should be between 18 years to 40 years as on 1st January 2021.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Nationality: Candidate must be citizens of India as defined in the Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and permanent resident of Assam.
