District Fishery Development Officer (DFDO), Lakhimpur, North
Lakhimpur has invited online application from eligible candidates who are citizen of India has defined in Article 5 & 8 of the Constitution of India domiciled in the State of Assam for filling up of the following sanctioned vacant post in for the recruitment 05 Grade-IV, Power Pump Operator & Driver Vacancy.
1. Grade-IV

Eligibility Criteria: Class VIII passed
Salary: PB-I, Rs.12000/- 52000/- +GP Rs.3900/-
2. Power Pump Operator (PPO)
No. of Posts: 01, Unreserved
Eligibility Criteria: The candidates should have valid ITI Diploma on mechanical diesel trade from recognized Govt. ITI. Minimum qualification HSLC passed. Candidates must be physically fit without any disability.
Salary: PB-I, Rs.14000-60500/, GP Rs.5200/-
3. Driver
No. of Posts: 01, Unreserved
Eligibility Criteria: The candidates should have valid professional Driving License for LMV/HMV issued by the competent authority (Assam State Only). Minimum qualification HSLC passed. Candidates must be physically fit without any disability with good eye sight.
Salary: PB-I, Rs.14000-60500/- GP Rs.5200/-
Age limit: Candidates must not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years of age on 01st January 2020. The upper age is relaxable for SC and ST candidate is up to 45 years and for OBC/ MOBC candidates is up to 43 years.
Selection Process/ Syllabus:
Candidates whose applications are accepted as per eligible criteria will be required to appear in an Objective type written examination. The written examination will be of 100 marks for 02.00 hours duration. The selection will be strictly on merit basis. The examination will be held on 14-02-2021.
The syllabus of Written Examination:
(i) General Knowledge: 50 marks
(ii) General English: 25 marks
(iii) Language skill in Assamese: 25 marks
For Power Pump Operator & Driver:
- (i) General Knowledge: 50 marks
- (ii) General English: 25 marks
- (iii) Skill Test: 25 marks
The Date and Venue of Written examination will be intimated in the Admit Card and also will be notified through the website as mentioned above and http://lakhimpur.nic.in .
Candidature of candidates is provisional and the Committee has the right to accept or reject the candidature of any candidate at any stage of recruitment after proper scrutiny of the educational and other relevant documents.
No application fees shall be paid by the candidates and canvassing directly or indirectly in any from by the candidate shall lead to disqualification of his candidature.
