Eligibility Criteria of India Post Recruitment:
Age Limit:
Minimum Age Limit: 18 years
Maximum Age Limit: 40 years
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PWD: 10 years
- PWD-OBC: 13 years
- PWD-SC/ST: 15 years
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed Secondary School Examination of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.
Local Language Proficiency: The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard.
Knowledge of Cycling: Knowledge of Cycling is a pre requisite condition for all GDS posts. In case of a candidate having knowledge of riding a scooter or motor cycle, that may be considered as knowledge of cycling also.

India Post has declared the final result of 38,926 posts of Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment. Candidates who have submitted their online applications for GDS Recruitment between 2nd May to 5th June 2022 can check their final result from the official application portal. The result of India Post Gramin Dak Sevaks of Assam circle for 1,143 posts has been declared on 15th June 2022 through official web portal.
The shortlisted candidates for the recruitment will have to attend the document verification process to complete the recruitment process. The shortlisted candidates should get their documents verified by the mentioned divisional head before 30th June 2022. The candidate should go along with all the relevant original documents for verification.
