West Assam Milk Producers’ Cooperative Union Limited (WAMUL) popularly known as Purabi Dairy on behalf of North East Dairy & Foods Limited (NEDFL) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of Manager, Executive and Assistant Posts.
Purabi Dairy Recruitment 2025
1. Plant Manager
Pay: CTC Rs. 10.00 lakhs per annum including P.F & other Contributions. (Negotiable and commensurate with qualification and experience)
Educational Qualification: Full time B.Tech/M. Tech in Dairy Technology with first class from AICTE recognized institute.
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in processing and manufacturing of milk and milk products in a Dairy Plant out of which preferably 2 years as Head of Operations.
Age Limit: Not above 42 years as on 1st January, 2025. However, relaxation may be given in case of appropriate or outstanding candidates.

2. Assistant Manager – Plant/ QA (Shift In-Charge)
Pay: CTC Rs. 7.90 lakhs per annum including P.F & other Contributions. (Negotiable and commensurate with qualification and experience)
Educational Qualification: Full time B. Tech in Dairy Technology in first class from a reputed education institute.
Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in processing and manufacturing of milk and milk products in a Dairy Plant out of which minimum 1 (one) year should be of heading an unit or section independently as Shift In-charge.
Age Limit: Not above 35 years as on 1st January, 2025. However, relaxation may be given in case of appropriate or outstanding candidates.

3. Assistant/Jr. Executive – Plant Process Operations
Pay: CTC Rs. 4.55 -5.40 lakhs per annum including P.F & other Contributions. (Negotiable and commensurate with qualification and experience).
Educational Qualification: 03 years Full time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/ 2 Years Indian Dairy Diploma (IDD)/ 03 years Diploma in Dairy Engineering from a recognized Institute/University.
Experience: Fresher or preferably 01-02 years of production operation experience in manufacturing industry (Preferably in Dairy/Food Industry).
Age Limit: Not above 30 years as on 1st January, 2025. However, relaxation may be given in case of appropriate or outstanding candidates.

4. Assistant/Jr. Executive – Plant Maintenance
Pay: CTC Rs. 4.55 -5.40 lakhs per annum including P.F & other Contributions. (Negotiable and commensurate with qualification and experience).
Educational Qualification: Minimum ITI pass in Electrical trade/ Fitter trade / Electronics Mechanic trade.
Experience: Fresher or preferably 01-02 years of working experience in Milk/Food industry.
Age Limit: Not above 30 years as on 1st January, 2025. However, relaxation may be given in case of appropriate or outstanding candidates.

5. Assistant/Jr. Executive – Plant Stores & Inventory
Pay: CTC Rs. 4.55 -5.40 lakhs per annum including P.F & other Contributions. (Negotiable and commensurate with qualification and experience).
Educational Qualification: Full time graduation in any discipline.
Experience: Fresher or preferably 01-02 years of working experience in Warehousing / Stores/ Inventory Management/ Logistics.
Age Limit: Not above 30 years as on 1st January, 2025. However, relaxation may be given in case of appropriate or outstanding candidates.

6. Assistant/Jr. Executive (Quality Assurance)
Pay: CTC Rs. 4.55 -5.40 lakhs per annum including P.F & other Contributions. (Negotiable and commensurate with qualification and experience).
Educational Qualification: Indian Dairy Diploma (Dairy technology) / B.Sc (PCM) from a reputed educational institute.
Experience: Fresher or preferably 01-02 years of working experience in Milk/Food industry. Laboratory testing shall have an added advantage.

7. Manager Marketing (Sales & Distribution)
Pay: CTC Rs. 10.00 lakhs per annum including P.F & other Contributions. (Negotiable and commensurate with qualification and experience)
Educational Qualification: Full time Post-graduate degree/Diploma in Business Administration (Marketing).
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ in the field of marketing & sales in Dairy/ FMCG/ Retail sector. Candidates having experience in other sectors need not apply.

8. Assistant Manager – Marketing ( Sales & Distribution)

Experience: Minimum 3 years of working in the field of marketing & sales in Dairy/ FMCG/ Retail/ Manufacturing sector. Minimum 1-year experience of handling a team.

Purabi is the brand name for milk and dairy products manufactured by West Assam Milk Producers' Co-operative Union Ltd. (WAMUL). Approved by FSSAI, it is one of the largest and most active dairy units in entire North East India. WAMUL came into existence in 1976 as a milk union of Milk Producers' Co-operative of Nagaon, Morigaon, Goalpara, Nalbari and Kamrup districts of Assam. The Union was set-up under the Operation Flood Programme of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) for dairy development in Assam. Over time, it has gone one to create a symbiotic relationship between milk producers, techno professionals, the market and the consumers.
Today, WAMUL is managed by the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), and markets a daily average quantity of over 50,000 litres of liquid milk and 7000 litres worth of milk products in Guwahati and towns of Upper and Lower Assam.
